We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Backend Developer to join the EBM product development team, helping to advance and improve our industry leading chatbot management platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain REST APIs for our backend services (in covllaboration with the wider EBM product team)
  • Implement new features
  • Diagnose and fix bugs
  • Write unit tests
• Contribute to the design of new features
• Participate in our agile development process
  • Daily standup
  • Sprint planning and retrospective
  • Ticket management with JIRA

• Practical experience using JavaScript / Node.js
• Practical experience using relational databases (we use MySQL and Postgres)
• Practical experience using source control (we use git and GitLab)
• Understanding of application and database performance
• Familiarity with secure development practices
• Familiarity with data privacy concerns
